The Goals

  1. Increase awareness of remote work among HR professionals and managers of international / distributed teams (before it became mainstream).

  2. Establish Remote-how as a thought leader and reliable source for remote work expertise.

  3. Drive engagement through media coverage and online events to support the platform's launch and building sales funnel.

About the Process

Before the COVID-19 pandemic shifted global work paradigms, building awareness of remote work was essential. To position Remote-how as a pioneering force in this space in early 2018, we developed and executed a comprehensive media relations strategy. This included preparing and distributing press releases, expert articles, and interviews with the founders of Remote-how to ensure a consistent and compelling narrative.

We targeted prominent online and traditional media outlets in both Poland (lavearging startup launch angle) and the U.S., focusing on publications that reached senior managers and HR professionals. Alongside this, we organized a series of webinars and an online conference, which featured the publication of a comprehensive report on the state of remote work in Poland. This multifaceted approach aimed to create a robust and engaging launch that resonated with our target audience and positioned Remote-how as a credible industry leader.
